This is a remote work opportunity. You must have a suitable offsite work location in Nova Scotia and be within commuting distance of any of NSCC's physical campuses. NSCC will supply you with all computing requirements (computer, monitors, etc.).
The salary scale for NSCC Faculty is based on steps that range from $78,771.88 - $104,267.58. New Faculty may receive up to a maximum of five steps for relevant occupational experience and may receive up to an additional four steps for full-time equivalent years of instructional experience (instructional experience is defined as teaching post-secondary). The maximum a new Faculty can expect to receive is nine steps or $97,388.02.

Qualifications and Occupational Experience:
The minimum educational qualification for this position is a relevant post-secondary degree or a 2-year Early Childhood Education Diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution and a Nova Scotia Level 2 ECE Certification.
Nova Scotia Level 3 ECE Certification would be considered an asset.
You have a minimum of five years (full-time equivalent) of recent and related occupational experience in early childhood education.
You are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Learning Management Systems such as Brightspace. You are comfortable with online teaching and remote instruction technologies which enhance online synchronous instruction.
Experience teaching online asynchronous classes in an adult learning environment is considered an asset.
