Moosehead Breweries Limited is Canada's last-major brewer still owned by Canadians. Headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick, the company has been operated by the Oland family since it was established in 1867.
We are currently seeking a Brand Manager to support the Boston Beer Company portfolio. This role will be primarily focused on the Twisted Tea, Sun Cruiser, and Truly Hard Seltzer brands nationally.
This role can be based remotely within Canada or at the Moosehead Brewery in Saint John, New Brunswick.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, this position will lead national innovation strategy, product commercialization, and brand stewardship activities across the Boston Beer Company portfolio. To be successful in this role, the individual must be a skilled communicator who is organized, reliable, and experienced in bringing ideas from concept to commercialization. Strong project management skills are required to navigate a complex network of internal and external stakeholders, including Boston Beer Company, creative agency partners, and organizations such as the NHL.
- Lead the development and execution of annual innovation strategies for all Boston Beer Company brands.
- Lead the development and presentation of innovation stories for customer pitches and presentations.
- Lead the product commercialization process, including packaging development, cross-functional collaboration, and regulatory approvals for all Boston Beer Company brands.
- Develop internal selling tools to equip and support the sales team.
- Develop, maintain, and champion brand guidelines across the organization.
- Lead strategic research initiatives to inform innovation and communication strategies in partnership with external research providers such as Ipsos, Zappi, and Caddle.
- Manage the overall SKU portfolio.
- Manage the total brand marketing budget, including planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize ways of working and enhance brand performance.

What you'll need
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education, marketing concentration preferred.
- +5 years' marketing experience, previous experience in Marketing is preferred.
- Beverage alcohol or CPG industry experience is an asset.
- Ability to travel within Canada and the U.S. is an asset.
- Experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an asset.
- Proficiency with PC Applications (Excel, Teams, Viva Engage, Outlook, etc.) is an asset.
- Proficiency with Canva is an asset.
- Proficiency with Project Management Tools (Workfront, Monday.com, etc.) is an asset.
