This role sits within a major Service Management transformation program focused on modernizing IT service delivery across a complex enterprise environment. The consultant will play a key role in shaping and optimizing service management processes while ensuring alignment with strategic business and technology objectives. Operating in a highly collaborative and multi-stakeholder setting, the position requires strong consulting expertise, particularly within ServiceNow-driven environments. The role combines business analysis, process design, and advisory responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on service quality and governance. You will work closely with technical experts, executives, and operational teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions. Accountabilities
The consultant is responsible for leading the identification, definition, and documentation of business needs while translating them into effective technical and process solutions. This includes:
- Analyzing, modeling, and documenting business requirements and technical solution options aligned with organizational goals
- Developing business cases, feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making and funding approvals
- Preparing executive-level presentations, reports, and submissions to secure governance and investment approvals
- Designing and implementing automated business processes, service management frameworks, and service agreements
- Collaborating with diverse stakeholders to develop training materials, operational processes, and support models
- Monitoring solution quality, ensuring compliance with standards, and overseeing project progress, resources, and cost control
- Conducting technical reviews, audits, and validation activities prior to implementation
Requirements
This role requires a seasoned consultant with strong experience in business analysis, service management transformation, and enterprise IT environments. Candidates should bring both technical understanding and strong stakeholder engagement capabilities:
- Proven experience in business consulting, ideally at a senior or level 3 complexity within large transformation programs
- Strong expertise in IT service management and platform-based solutions such as ServiceNow
- Ability to develop business cases, financial analyses, and executive-level documentation
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including executives, technical experts, and end users
- Strong understanding of process design, service delivery frameworks, and operational governance
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage priorities, control project delivery quality, and ensure compliance with standards
