About The Role
Draganfly Innovations is looking for a motivated and resourceful Contract Recruiter to join our team on a 3-month contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with previous agency recruitment or fast-paced in-house recruiting experience who can quickly step in, manage multiple openings, and support hiring managers with minimal ramp-up time.
The successful candidate is organized, proactive, comfortable working independently, and able to move quickly while maintaining a strong candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment across multiple roles and departments
- Source, screen, and shortlist qualified candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and direct outreach
- Conduct initial recruiter screens and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
- Draft and post job advertisements across various platforms
- Maintain candidate pipelines and recruitment trackers
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and timelines
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Support scheduling, offer coordination, and general recruitment administration
- Provide market feedback and hiring insights when needed

- Resourceful and solution-oriented with a strong sense of urgency
- Professional, adaptable, and accountable in your work
- Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across teams
- Passionate about delivering a positive candidate experience and successful hiring outcomes
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or a related field preferred
- 1–4 years of recruitment experience in an agency, staffing, or fast-paced in-house recruitment environment
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes from sourcing through offer stage
- Proven experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, and direct outreach
- Experience handling multiple open requisitions simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Previous experience recruiting for corporate, sales, operations, technical, or administrative roles is considered an asset
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal training and adapt quickly to changing hiring needs
- Experience working in remote or hybrid environments is considered an asset
Compensation package:
- Competitive salary: $55,000 – $65,000
- Vacation pay in accordance with provincial employment standards
