In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality demo environments that directly support pre-sales success and revenue growth. You will act as the technical backbone for sales demonstrations, ensuring systems are stable, realistic, and always aligned with the latest product capabilities. You will work closely with solution consultants and sales engineers to build compelling proof-of-concept experiences that bring product value to life. Accountabilities:
- Own, maintain, and continuously improve demo environments used by the pre-sales and sales teams to ensure they are stable, up-to-date, and production-ready for customer presentations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in demo systems, acting as the primary point of contact for environment reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with senior solution consultants to build and support tailored proof-of-concepts (POCs) that align with customer requirements and deal strategies.
- Design and manage realistic data sets within demo environments to effectively simulate customer use cases and industry scenarios.
- Support backend and frontend adjustments required for smooth and compelling product demonstrations.
- Assist in integrating APIs and services to ensure seamless end-to-end demo functionality.
- Continuously upgrade demo infrastructure in line with new product releases and evolving sales needs.
- Support ad-hoc technical requests from sales teams during active deal cycles.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, including both frontend (React) and backend (Node.js) development.
- Experience working with REST APIs, including debugging, integration, and data manipulation.
- Familiarity with AWS fundamentals such as S3, Cognito, and CloudWatch.
- Ability to manage environment setup, data seeding, and configuration for development or demo systems.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a “figure-it-out” attitude in ambiguous technical situations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-relevant value.
- Comfortable working in fast-moving, sales-driven environments with shifting priorities.
- Python scripting experience, CI/CD troubleshooting, or PHP knowledge considered an asset.
- Exposure to insurance or annuity domains is a plus but not required.
- Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work closely with sales engineering and solution consulting teams.
