Accountabilities
- Customize program elements to meet the needs of assigned prescribing physicians.
- Review patient status and assist physicians with patient enrolment, completing payer forms, and documenting previous therapies.
- Identify obstacles to obtaining coverage and communicate these to the Program Manager.
- Develop strong working relationships with physicians and their office staff to maintain smooth patient care.
- Provide ongoing training and support to physicians on new program initiatives.
- Complete all relevant reports in accordance with specified timelines and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related discipline.
- Minimum of five years of experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance industries.
- Case management experience preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation for regional travel.
- Knowledge of private and public reimbursement structures.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with reimbursement navigation.
- Fluency in French and/or English may be required.
