Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Forecast & Pricing Analyst on a permanent basis on our Petroleum Commercial sales team.
This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, Regina, Calgary, Edmonton or Winnipeg.
Join our Energy Products & Services team as a Forecast & Pricing Analyst and play a key role in delivering timely Energy market intelligence to key stakeholders across the Co-operative Retailing System. In this role, you’ll combine analytical expertise with market insight to deliver critical intelligence to stakeholders across the system, and support forecast and pricing functions.
What you’ll do:
Develop and distribute timely market insight communications, summarizing global, North American, and Western Canadian energy market developments and their operational impacts.
Support the petroleum sales forecasting function by maintaining accurate data inputs and collaborating with the Co-op Refinery Complex, Supply & Drading, and internal stakeholders.
Support in the preparation of short- and long-term forecasts to support refinery production scheduling, financial modeling, and strategic decision-making.
Monitor market trends, supply-demand dynamics, and margin fluctuations, providing insights that inform forecasting and pricing strategies.
Support the administration of pricing programs by supporting rollout, monitoring performance, resolving discrepancies, and responding to inquiries from Zone Advisors and Local Co-ops.
Who you’ll work with:
The Team: You will work closely with and will report into the Senior Forecast Specialist.
The Collaborators: You will work closely with other functions in our Energy business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as Supply Chain, the CRC and local co-ops.
