This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a IPS Organizational Change Management, Communications, and Training Lead in Canada.
This role is centered on driving enterprise-wide transformation within a large public-sector digital modernization initiative. You will lead organizational change management, communications, and training strategies to support the successful adoption of a new cloud-based integrated project services solution. Acting as a key change leader, you will engage with diverse stakeholders across ministries and agencies to align objectives, manage impacts, and build organizational readiness. The position requires strong expertise in change leadership, stakeholder engagement, and complex transformation environments. You will design and deliver structured communication and training programs that ensure smooth adoption and minimize resistance. This is a highly collaborative and strategic role where your work directly supports modernization of critical public infrastructure services across the province.
Accountabilities:
- Lead organizational change management, communications, and training activities across a large-scale public-sector transformation program.
- Develop and execute change management strategies, including stakeholder analysis, readiness assessments, and impact evaluations.
- Design and implement communication plans that drive awareness, engagement, and alignment across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Build training strategies, learning plans, and coaching frameworks to support end-user adoption of new systems and processes.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement across ministries, agencies, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on goals and benefits.
- Assess organizational impacts, risks, and interdependencies, developing mitigation strategies to support successful change adoption.
- Produce change documentation including plans, briefing notes, reports, and readiness assessments for senior leadership.
- Support leadership teams in driving adoption, acting as a trusted advisor on change, communication, and training approaches.
- Coordinate transition planning activities to ensure smooth implementation of new operating models and digital solutions.
- Monitor change progress, measure adoption outcomes, and adjust strategies to improve effectiveness.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in Organizational Change Management, Communications, and Training within complex environments.
- Proven experience designing and executing change management and communication strategies for large-scale initiatives.
- Strong ability to conduct stakeholder analysis, readiness assessments, and organizational impact evaluations.
- Experience developing and delivering training programs for diverse and large user groups.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior leaders and translate complex changes into clear messaging.
- Ability to manage resistance, support adoption, and coach stakeholders through transformation.
- Experience working in public-sector or multi-stakeholder environments is an asset.
- Strong analytical, planning, and coordination skills across multiple workstreams.
- Ability to develop structured documentation including change plans, reports, and business cases.
- Familiarity with digital transformation or enterprise system implementation projects is an advantage.
