This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead Product Designer (LMTS), AI Products in Canada.
This is a senior individual contributor design role focused on shaping the next generation of AI-powered, autonomous sales experiences within enterprise software. You will help define how users understand, trust, and interact with intelligent agents that operate in real time and perform complex workflows on their behalf. The work spans both strategic product definition and highly detailed interaction design across conversational and multimodal experiences. You will design systems where the interface is not just visual, but behavioral—helping users interpret AI reasoning, adjust outcomes, and collaborate with autonomous agents. Operating in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment, you will work closely with engineering and ML teams to turn emerging AI capabilities into production-ready experiences. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys defining entirely new interaction paradigms at scale.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the design of AI-native product experiences, shaping how users interact with autonomous agents across conversational, real-time, and enterprise workflows.
- Design both the “AI brain” and user-facing surfaces, including how systems explain reasoning, adapt behavior, and respond to user intent.
- Create and refine interaction patterns for live AI-driven conversations, focusing on trust, clarity, latency handling, tone, and responsiveness.
- Prototype rapidly using modern tools, often in code or AI-assisted environments, to validate ideas and inform product direction.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and ML teams to translate AI capabilities into usable, intuitive, and scalable product experiences.
- Help define emerging design patterns for agentic systems in enterprise SaaS, contributing to product strategy and long-term vision.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of product design experience, including meaningful work on AI-driven, conversational, or real-time interactive systems.
- Strong understanding of LLM behavior, including latency, streaming responses, uncertainty, and failure modes, with the ability to design for them effectively.
- Proven ability to work fluently with AI tools as part of daily design practice, using them for ideation, prototyping, and execution.
- Exceptional interaction and visual design skills, with strong product taste and attention to detail.
- Comfort operating without rigid briefs, with the ability to define both problem space and solution direction.
- Experience collaborating directly with engineering and machine learning teams in highly iterative environments.
- Bonus: experience in voice, video, conversational UX, enterprise SaaS, CRM workflows, or autonomous multi-step systems.
Benefits:
- Competitive base salary ranging from CAD 140,000 to CAD 190,000 (Canada-based roles), with higher ranges available in select regions.
- Additional compensation elements including performance bonuses, equity, and incentive programs.
- Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, vision, mental health support, and disability insurance.
- Retirement and savings plans, including 401(k) or regional equivalents and employee stock purchase programs.
- Flexible time off programs, paid parental leave, and strong work-life balance support.
- Remote flexibility with the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI products at global scale.
- Access to advanced AI tools and resources designed to accelerate impact and innovation.
