We are currently seeking an experienced After-Hours Maintenance Coordinator to support our maintenance operations outside of regular business hours in a primarily remote, work-from-home capacity, with occasional on-site attendance required. This role is critical in ensuring fleet uptime by responding to breakdowns, coordinating repairs, and supporting drivers and dispatch during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Schedule:
This role is scheduled primarily over weekends. The successful candidate may select either a three-day, 12-hour shift schedule (Friday–Sunday) or a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule (Friday–Monday), both beginning on Friday.

Scope of Work:
- Provide after-hours maintenance support for breakdowns, service requests, and urgent repairs
- Receive and triage after-hours maintenance calls from drivers and dispatch
- Coordinate roadside assistance, towing, tire services, and mobile repair vendors
- Communicate clearly with drivers, dispatch, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely resolution
- Create, update, and manage work orders and maintenance records
- Support uptime and cost control through effective prioritization and decision-making
- Maintain accurate data entry in the maintenance management system
- Liaise with approved vendors and contractors to arrange emergency and scheduled services
- Assist the parts department when required
- Escalate issues appropriately and ensure follow-up during regular business hours
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in office administration, logistics, or a related field is an asset
- Previous experience in a maintenance coordination, fleet support, dispatch, or administrative role preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and solution-focused in high-pressure situations
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize competing demands, and work independently
- Availability and willingness to work after-hours, evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations
- Ability to work effectively from a home office with minimal supervision
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, distraction-free workspace
