This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Manager, Fund Administration (Investor Services) in Canada.
In this role, you will lead a high-performing Investor Services team responsible for delivering best-in-class fund administration support across a diverse portfolio of private markets clients. You will oversee day-to-day operations while ensuring exceptional service quality, strong SLA performance, and high customer satisfaction. Acting as a key escalation point, you will resolve complex client issues and coordinate cross-functional efforts to drive timely outcomes. You will also play a central role in shaping team development, coaching managers and associates, and strengthening operational capabilities. This position combines leadership, client engagement, and process optimization within a fast-growing, technology-enabled financial services environment. It offers the opportunity to influence service strategy, scale operations, and directly impact the experience of institutional investors and fund managers.
Accountabilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Investor Services Associates and Assistant Managers to ensure strong performance, engagement, and professional growth.
- Own key operational metrics including SLA compliance, service quality, and customer satisfaction across assigned client portfolios.
- Act as senior escalation point for complex investor services issues, coordinating resolution across internal teams and stakeholders.
- Manage workload distribution, capacity planning, and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency and service continuity.
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational controls while identifying opportunities for product and service enhancements.
- Partner with Product, Sales, and Operations teams to align service delivery with broader business objectives and growth priorities.
- Report on team performance, risks, and operational trends to senior leadership, ensuring visibility and accountability.
Requirements:
- 6–10+ years of experience in fund administration, investor services, or a related financial services environment.
- 2+ years of people management experience with demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of investor services operations and private markets fund structures.
- Proven ability to analyze data and use insights to drive performance, decision-making, and operational improvements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives and driving operational change at scale.
