This role supports mortgage professionals in a fast-paced, client-focused banking environment, helping individuals achieve their homeownership goals through efficient administrative and client engagement support. You will act as a key operational partner to a Mortgage Advisor, ensuring smooth handling of applications, inquiries, and documentation throughout the mortgage lifecycle. Working in a remote home-office setup, you will contribute directly to business growth by improving client experience and supporting outreach initiatives. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. It is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship-building and working in a structured yet dynamic financial services environment. You will also play a role in business development support, helping identify and engage potential clients. This is a part-time opportunity that combines flexibility with meaningful impact in the mortgage journey.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide responsive client engagement by handling inquiries and supporting clients through various stages of the mortgage application process, ensuring clarity and efficiency.
  • Deliver administrative support to the Mortgage Advisor, including document preparation, tracking applications, and maintaining accurate records to support business operations.
  • Assist in business development activities by supporting outreach efforts, identifying potential leads, and contributing to strategies that attract new clients.
  • Coordinate follow-ups and ensure timely communication between clients, advisors, and internal teams to maintain a seamless workflow.
  • Support post-sales activities to ensure client satisfaction and reinforce long-term relationships.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in client service, administrative support, or financial services, ideally with exposure to residential mortgage processes.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort working with digital systems and remote collaboration tools.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-first mindset and ability to build trust-based relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining accountability and meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with banking or mortgage products is considered an asset.
