This leadership role is responsible for driving commercial performance across Western Canada, ensuring revenue growth, strong pipeline management, and operational excellence within a complex sales environment. You will lead and align a high-performing sales team, guiding Account Managers and Account Executives to achieve ambitious regional targets. The role combines strategic planning, hands-on leadership, and customer-facing engagement with senior stakeholders across key accounts. You will also play a central role in shaping sales execution, optimizing deal structures, and improving forecast accuracy. With a strong focus on customer experience, you will ensure a coordinated and value-driven approach across all interactions. This is a field-based leadership position requiring strong presence with customers and partners, as well as close collaboration with internal teams. Accountabilities
- Define and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve or exceed revenue, order volume, and profitability targets.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, ensuring strong execution across the full sales cycle.
- Manage forecasting, pipeline health, and regional performance metrics, including operational budget adherence.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers across major accounts to drive long-term partnerships.
- Support complex deal structuring, including bundled solutions, while ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate across internal teams to ensure a unified “one team” approach to customer engagement and delivery.
- Drive issue resolution through escalation processes and ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in sales or industry roles involving complex solution or capital equipment sales.
- At least 5 years of proven sales leadership experience managing high-performing teams.
- Strong track record of exceeding sales targets, improving forecast accuracy, and maintaining balanced portfolios.
- Experience with complex, multi-stakeholder deals and solution-based selling environments.
- Strong executive presence with excellent negotiation, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Solid financial acumen, including ROI, NPV, and other investment evaluation methods.
- Deep understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to build, motivate, and sustain high-performing teams in a competitive environment.
