In this role, you will drive new business growth by promoting integrated logistics solutions across warehousing, transportation management, freight forwarding, and value-added services. You will act as a key commercial representative, building relationships with enterprise clients, identifying opportunities through market research and networking, and managing complex, long-cycle sales processes. The position requires a strong ability to position tailored supply chain solutions that address customer challenges and deliver measurable business value. You will also represent the organization at industry events and contribute to shaping go-to-market strategies in a competitive logistics environment. Working closely with internal operations and marketing teams, you will ensure seamless execution of proposals and client solutions. This is a high-impact, client-facing role focused on revenue growth and strategic account development within a global logistics organization.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across warehousing and transportation management services.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities through networking, market research, and industry engagement.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with enterprise clients to ensure retention and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and presentations that clearly communicate the value of logistics and supply chain solutions.
- Cross-sell additional services including freight forwarding and value-added services to expand client partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as operations, marketing, and supply chain specialists to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine sales strategy and improve performance outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 5–7+ years of experience in enterprise sales, account management, or client-facing business development roles.
- Proven track record of closing large, complex deals, including engagements valued at $5M+ annually.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain solutions is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and executive decision-makers.
- Demonstrated success managing long sales cycles and solution-based selling strategies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
