The Opportunity
VistaVu is seeking a seasoned Consultant to join our dynamic S/4Hana Cloud Public Team as an SAP S4 Solution Architect. The Solution Architect (SAP Cloud ERP, Public Edition) designs and delivers ERP solutions that align with client business goals, primarily by mapping processes to SAP S/4HANA Cloud (public edition) using standard features and best practices. This role minimizes customizations, resulting in simpler, more maintainable systems. Acting as a link between business needs and technical implementation, the architect guides configuration and necessary extensions, defines the overall solution blueprint, and ensures integration across all functions like Finance, Procurement, and Sales. Throughout the project lifecycle, the architect oversees and leads the project team through design, build, testing, and deployment to ensure the system meets requirements, follows SAP standards, and supports long-term client success.
Expected compensation: $180K-210K base CAD

What will you be doing?
End to End Solution Ownership
- Lead overall solution architecture and design for SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Public Edition) projects, ensuring business requirements and integration needs are fully addressed.
Fit to Standard Leadership
- Facilitate and lead fit to standard workshops to assess process alignment, identify gaps, and recommend standard or extensible solutions.
Solution Documentation
- Translate business requirements into clear solution designs, configuration documents, and technical specifications, and obtain stakeholder approvals.
Integration & Architecture Planning
- Define integration strategies, data migration approaches, system extensions, user access models, and the overarching ERP architecture.
Project Governance & Team Leadership
- Provide guidance to project teams, resolve design issues, maintain scope discipline, and enforce architectural governance throughout delivery.
SAP Best Practices Compliance
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and promote clean core, upgradable solutions using standard configuration and BTP based extensions.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Oversee testing cycles to validate end to end process coverage, troubleshoot defects, and ensure solution consistency.
Cutover & Go Live Readiness
- Coordinate cutover planning, readiness checks, and provide strong post go live support to stabilize the solution.
Client Engagement & Pre Sales Support
- Act as a trusted client advisor, maintain ongoing communication
What experience do you need?
ERP & SAP Implementation Background
- 5–8+ years of ERP implementation experience, with strong emphasis on SAP platforms.
- Minimum 2–3+ years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Public Edition) experience, including quarterly release management and fit to standard delivery practices.
Full Lifecycle Project Delivery
- Demonstrated success leading or contributing significantly to multiple full lifecycle ERP projects, from planning through post go live.
- Served as primary solution designer for 2–3 SAP S/4HANA Cloud or SAP Business ByDesign implementations, showing the ability to own solution design across all phases.
Cross Functional & Integration Exposure
- Broad experience across multiple functional domains (e.g., Professional Services, Manufacturing, Distribution).
- Strong background in system integrations—SAP-to-CRM, e commerce, legacy systems—or middleware such as SAP Integration Suite.
Leadership in Solution Design & Delivery
- Proven experience guiding solution decisions in roles such as lead consultant, solution lead, or architect.
- Comfortable collaborating with business leads, project managers, and technical teams to align requirements, timelines, and development.
Consulting & Multi Country Deployment Experience
- Background in a consulting or systems integrator environment, accustomed to fast paced delivery and client-facing work.
- Experience with global or multi country rollouts (e.g., localizations, multi-currency, distributed teams) is a strong plus.
Industry & Domain Expertise
- Practical experience in sectors common to mid-market ERP such as manufacturing, distribution, or professional services.
- Ability to reuse industry patterns—e.g., project systems/time & billing, production/inventory flows—to shape scalable SAP Cloud ERP solutions.
SAP Cloud ERP Expertise
- Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Public Edition) across multiple functional modules (Finance, Procurement, Sales, Manufacturing).
- Understanding of system capabilities, limitations, and configuration approaches.
SAP Activate & Cloud Implementation Skills
- Strong grasp of the SAP Activate methodology, especially Explore (fit to standard), Realize, and Deploy phases.
- Familiarity with quarterly release cycles, cloud update planning, and clean core design principles.
Professional Certifications
- Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition certifications).
Documentation & Communication Proficiency
- Ability to produce clear, high quality architectural documentation including solution designs, blueprints, and technical specs.
- Strong verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to both business and technical audiences.
Business Process Acumen
- Broad understanding of end-to-end business processes (finance, supply chain, order to cash, procure to pay, etc.).
- Ability to connect cross functional processes and collaborate with specialized consultants.
