Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Business Systems Analyst on a temporary basis (12 months) on our Business Transformation team. This position is a hybrid or remote opportunity and can be based across Western Canada.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with Consumer Products, IT, and Supply Chain teams, to ensure smooth day-to-day functionality, while continuously improving systems and processes. Your expertise will be vital in creating and maintaining process flows and documentation, gathering system requirements, and providing training and troubleshooting support to ensure all systems are running efficiently. What you’ll do:

  • Address complex inquiries about system functionality and identify necessary enhancements to meet stakeholder needs. 
  • Translate business needs into requirements and contribute to system designs, ensuring new functionality meets expectations. 
  • Develop and maintain support documentation, procedures, and processes related to new system features. 
  • Maintain day-to-day functionality of key supply chain systems (e.g., order processing, Relay, Merch Ops, Meat System) and collaborate with system administrators and analysts to resolve issues promptly. 
  • Create, update, and deliver training materials, and conduct training sessions to ensure effective system use across stakeholders.

Who you’ll work with:
The Team: You will work closely with other Business Systems Analysts and will report into the Manager, Business Systems Planning and Design. This team strives to cultivate a culture that is collaborative, adaptable, and customer centric.

The Collaborators:  You will work closely with other functions in our Consumer Products business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as IT, Supply Chain, and 3rd party companies like Blue Yonder and ISM.

We help feed Western Canada by providing fresh groceries and wholesale solutions to independent retail stores, restaurants and other food establishments in communities large and small.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Project Management & Business Analysis and:

  • Have 6 – 9 years of relevant progressively responsible experience, ideally in supply chain systems/processes, logistics operations, wholesale operations, master data management and/or retail experience.     
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, supply chain or computer science (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered). 
  • Have knowledge of the Food, Home and Building, Convenience Store, Liquor Industry or FCL’s Mainframe and commodity systems would be a considerable asset.
