Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Manager, Solutions Architecture on a permanent basis on our Technology team. This position is a remote opportunity and can be based anywhere across Canada.

Lead and shape enterprise solutions across key business domains. This role leads a team of Architects to define and deliver integrated, standardsbased technology solutions. What you’ll do:

  • Define and own domain technology strategy and roadmaps, including standards, architecture artifacts, and long term investment plans aligned to business and Enterprise Architecture objectives. 
  • Lead solution architecture governance, guiding early solution design, overseeing roadmap development, ensuring documentation standards, and managing architecture reviews and stakeholder alignment. 
  • Drive cross functional delivery alignment, ensuring teams adhere to approved architectures to accelerate implementation, simplify decision making, reduce support complexity, and maximize technology ROI. 
  • Monitor and interpret emerging technology and business trends, contextualizing digital, economic, and non-technology forces to inform strategic and financial technology investment decisions. 
  • Lead and develop domain aligned Solution Architects, coordinating across technology, data, and digital architecture teams, and advancing the solution architecture practice through communication, education, and standards.

The Team:. You will lead a team of Solutions Architects and will report into the Director, Enterprise Architecture.This team strives to cultivate a culture that is strategic, collaborative, and standards focused.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Information Technology and:

  • Have 8+ years of relevant, progressively responsible experience in technology domains Application Development/Deployment and Cloud. Includes 3 – 5 years’ experience in leading or developing the Solution Architects or a Solution Architecture practice.  
  • Have 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in two or more of the following business domains: Order Management, Marketing, eCommerce, Retail / In-Store, HCM, Finance, Energy Production, or Marketing and Logistics.  
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in information management, computer science or related field. (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered). TOGAF Certification, AWS Architect Certification and Azure Architect Certification are considered an asse
