Position Summary
The Project Manager is the front-line relationships manager charged with preserving, improving client and resource relationships. Apertera partnerships are typically long term in nature and managing the existing client relationships and striving for an always improved client experience is the main focus.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
Everything we do in project management is viewed through the lens of delivering an exceptional customer experience. To achieve this, the Senior Project Manager is fully responsible for the entire lifecycle of the client experience for all projects within their area.
The smooth execution of a project largely depends on thorough planning and ensuring that all stakeholders are in full agreement regarding the process, budget, timelines, deliverables, and the agreed-upon method of communication throughout the project and between project cycles.
For a project manager in the translation business, educating the client is an integral part of the process.
Careful planning and selection of all resources are crucial to delivering the project on time and within budget.
The Senior Project Manager oversees the execution of both their own projects and those managed by team members. They are ultimately responsible for keeping all stakeholders informed and aligned regarding timelines, details, and any necessary coordination throughout the execution phase.
Upon successful completion and delivery of the project, the Senior Project Manager ensures that follow-up calls are made with the involved stakeholders.
For recurring and/or contracted clients, the Senior Project Manager is fully responsible for maintaining relationships with the clients and all requesters. Once again, the Senior Project Manager ensures that all preparations, agreements, and planning are completed well in advance of the project execution phase. They proactively solve problems to prevent client issues and address client concerns. Additionally, QA evaluations are conducted when necessary.
