URGENT: Freight Brokerage Assistant (experience in US freight or US logistics is required)

Monitor load boards such as DAT Freight & Analytics and Truckstop to identify profitable loads

Contact carriers to confirm availability and negotiate rates within approved margin thresholds

Secure loads with carriers and issue rate confirmations
-
Verify carrier authority and compliance documentation, including MC authority, COI, W-9, and carrier agreements

Schedule and track pickup and delivery appointments
-
Monitor load status, collect PODs, and update Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
-
Maintain a preferred carrier list and update carrier performance scorecards
-
Prepare and submit invoices with complete supporting documentation
-
Follow up on detention, layover, and accessorial charges
-
Communicate with brokers, shippers, and drivers to ensure timely load execution
-
Maintain load-level profitability tracking and margin visibility
-
Ensure all compliance and carrier documentation remains current and complete
-
Follow secure credential handling and system access control protocols
-
Adhere to offboarding procedures for carrier systems and brokerage platforms when access changes
Hard Requirements:
-
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in freight dispatch, load coordination, or logistics operations

Hands-on experience using major load boards (DAT, Truckstop or equivalent)

Proven ability to negotiate carrier rates within predefined margin guidelines

Strong understanding of carrier compliance requirements and documentation

Experience tracking loads from booking through delivery and POD collection

Familiarity with TMS platforms and freight documentation workflows
-
Strong verbal and written English communication skills

High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy for margin tracking

Ability to manage multiple active loads simultaneously under time pressure

Experience handling sensitive operational and financial data securely

Reliable internet connection and secure remote work environment
Schedule:

40 hours per week

Monday to Friday

9AM–6PM US Eastern Standard Time
Offer and Benefits:

Weeks 1–4: $4 USD/hour
