WTC Field Technician

Tremco Incorporated has been a world leader in solving complex waterproofing and roofing problems for commercial, institutional and industrial accounts since 1928. Weatherproofing Technologies, Tremco’s service division is currently seeking several experienced Field technicians for projects in Ontario.

Responsibilities 

• Installation of Roofing Systems: under the direction of a foreman, install different types of roofing systems such as BUR, EPDM, Single-ply, coatings, safety systems and other forms of low-slope roofing systems. Operate tools in a safe manner, while adhering to all applicable health and safety legislation.

• QA and Maintenance Inspections: perform routine inspections using diagnostic equipment, check roof to make sure system is working properly and ensure any problems are communicated and corrected.

Qualifications 

• Willing to travel (Up to 25% or more) within the assigned region and work flexible hours in the peak season.
• Ability to work at heights and lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have access to a vehicle. (truck is a nice to have)
• Must have at least 2 years of commercial roofing experience (no need to be a journeyman, need flat roofing experience or steep slop roofing)
• This is a new position. Pay range is $35-$45. Final compensation is dependent upon individual's knowledge, skills, experience, internal equity and market data alignment.
