We are currently seeking a Asset Management Analyst - Software (SAM) - FTR - Telework to join our team in Burnaby, British Columbia (CA-BC), Canada (CA).
Purpose of Position
The Software Asset Management Analyst is responsible for tracking software license entitlements in the Asset Database, monitoring application usage to identify opportunities for removal of unused software and managing software license compliance. The software entitlement data captured from Vendor purchase reports and Enterprise Agreement reconciliation will be leveraged to configure and update license counters providing the customer with accurate license compliance reporting, therefore detailed knowledge of various software license models and product use rights for major Publishers is required. The position deals with client enquiries and provides a variety of internal and customer reports as required. This service enables the client to monitor software license compliances, procure licenses accordingly as required, and benefit from cost savings through removal of unused software. The position is responsible for meeting contractual service level requirements and service level objectives.
