What Does Shinydocs do?
Most organizations are drowning in data - documents scattered across systems, hard to find, harder to trust. Shinydocs fixes that. We build AI-powered software that helps businesses locate, classify, and govern their unstructured data at scale, turning chaos into clarity. Our platform gives organizations control over their content landscape so they can work faster, stay compliant, and actually find what they're looking for.
Why This Role Exists
We have a product that solves a real, expensive problem for companies and a sales motion that converts. We are building is a repeatable engine that brings the right buyers to us. This role exists to lead that effort. You'll drive the programs, channels, and experiments that generate top-of-funnel pipeline - with a hard bias toward organic and inbound. It's not a campaign coordinator job. It's a builder job.
What You'll Do
Organic & Inbound Growth
- Lead the strategy and execution for building inbound pipeline - this is your primary mandate
- Develop an SEO / AEO content program rooted in what our ICP is actually searching: information governance, data compliance, enterprise search, unstructured data risk
- Build and run a Social presence that consistently puts Shinydocs in front of CIOs, records managers, information governance leads, and compliance officers
- Publish content - articles, landing pages, guides - that attracts the right buyers and compounds over time
Demand Generation
- Design and run multi-channel marketing campaigns that move prospects from aware to engaged - think content campaigns, webinars, and events, not outbound sequences
- Build and manage a lead scoring and segmentation approach so sales spends time on the right conversations
- Identify, test, and double down on the channels generating real pipeline - kill what doesn't work fast
Experimentation & Analytics
- Run structured growth experiments across channels, messaging, and formats - document what you learn and build on it
- Lean into the metrics that matter: organic traffic, MQLs, conversion rates, pipeline contribution
- Report clearly on what's working and make the case for where to invest next
Collaboration
- Partner closely with sales to understand what makes a quality lead and feed that back into targeting and messaging
- Work with any external contractors or agencies brought in to support content or design when needed
Who You Are
- Experience in growth marketing or demand generation in a B2B SaaS environment
- You've run organic growth programs and can point to results - traffic, leads, or pipeline you drove through content and SEO
- You're analytical and creative in equal measure - you use data to decide where to focus and strong writing to execute
- You're comfortable being scrappy: you'll write the Social post, set up the CRM sequence, and pull the analytics report yourself
- You move fast, test often, and don't wait for perfect conditions to launch
- You're hungry - you want to be the person who built the growth engine, not the person who inherited one
- Bonus: experience marketing to compliance-heavy buyers (legal, government, financial services, oil & gas)
What the First 90 Days Look Like
- Month 1 - Audit current organic presence and active channels; interview sales team to understand ICP and top objections; establish baseline metrics
- Month 2 - Launch content, own the Social cadence, tighten lead scoring and nurture flows
- Month 3 - Full-funnel marketing campaign live, reporting dashboards in place, experiment backlog prioritized and running
