About the role

The HubSpot Manager owns the strategy, administration, and continuous optimization of the HubSpot platform to support Marketing, Sales, and Customer Engagement teams. This role acts as the HubSpot Subject Matter Expert (SME), translating business needs into scalable, well-documented CRM and marketing automation solutions.

You will lead discovery, design solutions, manage trade-offs, and communicate clearly with stakeholders at both technical and business levels.


Key Responsibilities

HubSpot Strategy, Administration & Optimization

  • Own day-to-day administration of HubSpot (CRM, Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub)
  • Configure and maintain pipelines, properties, lifecycle stages, permissions, lead scoring, and workflows
  • Create and manage workflows, forms, landing pages, lists, and other HubSpot assets
  • Monitor and maintain data quality, including data hygiene, segmentation, and list management
  • Stay current on HubSpot platform updates and proactively identify new opportunities for the business

Discovery, Stakeholder Engagement & Solution Design

  • Conduct discovery sessions with business partners to understand objectives, pain points, and current-state CRM challenges
  • Design complex HubSpot solutions, documenting and diagramming proposed processes and system changes
  • Make platform and process recommendations aligned with HubSpot best practices and internal business goals
  • Clearly communicate proposed solutions, trade-offs, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders
  • Act as the HubSpot SME, providing guidance across Marketing, Sales, Services, and Customer Success

Operations, Projects & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Operations teams on project scope, prioritization, timelines, and constraints
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as access management, learning & development, and marketing
  • Set and manage project expectations, proactively handling scope changes and potential risks
  • Identify process gaps, reporting challenges, or adoption issues and recommend solutions
  • Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards

Reporting, Adoption & Continuous Improvement

  • Build dashboards and reports to support leadership, Marketing, Sales, and Operations
  • Monitor HubSpot usage and adoption to ensure optimal use by operational teams
  • Improve operational efficiency through automation and standardized processes
  • Document workflows, system configurations, and best practices

Integrations & Systems

  • Manage and support integrations with other platforms (e.g., survey tools, other CRMs, finance or support tools)
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate issue resolution to maintain system availability

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of experience configuring and customizing a CRM or marketing automation platform (HubSpot preferred)
  • Experience in Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, or Support Operations
  • Hands-on experience as an end user and administrator of a CRM or marketing automation platform
  • Proven ability to break complex challenges into structured, manageable solutions
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills
