Position Overview:
The Account Manager will play a pivotal role in both managing existing hospital partnerships and supporting growth initiatives across Ontario and the Maritimes. This is a dynamic, hybrid role that blends relationship management with light sales and expansion responsibilities. The ideal candidate is someone who is equally comfortable nurturing long-term partnerships and identifying opportunities to grow accounts, expand services, and bring new partners into the VetWise ecosystem. This role requires a highly organized, proactive, and people-focused individual with strong communication skills and experience in either account management, sales, or client success, ideally within healthcare or veterinary services.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and nurture hospital partnerships, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and long-term success.
Act as the main point of contact for partner hospitals, handling questions and concerns promptly.
Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts, introduce new services, and drive deeper partnerships.
Support new hospital acquisition and growth efforts in collaboration with leadership and sales initiatives.
Develop strategies to strengthen partner relationships and increase engagement and usage.
Track hospital performance and share insights and updates with senior leadership.
Gather feedback, identify risks or issues, and escalate when necessary.
Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing support for hospital partners.
Work closely with internal teams (operations, clinical, product) to ensure a seamless partner experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management and or sales, preferably in the healthcare or veterinary industry.
Proven track record of managing client relationships and achieving account management objectives.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
Proficiency in CRM software and other account management tools.
Passion for animal health and the veterinary industry is a plus.
What We Offer:
Competitive salary of $50,000 - $60,000 annually

40 hours per week Monday to Friday
