The Opportunity
Moosehead Breweries Limited is Canada's last major brewer still proudly owned by Canadians. Headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick, we've remained family-owned by the Oland family since our founding in 1867.
We are currently seeking a self-motivated, dynamic, and driven Territory Manager based in Calgary. This role is responsible for maximizing Moosehead's competitive advantage at the point of sale across both On-Premise (OP) and Retail channels. The Territory Manager will manage a diverse portfolio of licensee and retail accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Achieve territory volume targets within allocated resources
- Conduct regular sales calls to on-premise and retail accounts to increase product distribution and maximize volume, share, and visibility within an established customer base
- Champion brand education for customers and consumers, including product knowledge and promotional activity
- Execute all administrative requirements of the territory sales plan, including coverage planning, sales call planning, promotion evaluation, competitive intelligence, and ROI management
- Build, strengthen, and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Merchandise accounts to ensure optimal brand presence and compliance with all programs
What you'll need
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of sales experience in beverage alcohol or consumer packaged goods (CPG)
- Degree or diploma in business, sales, marketing, or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical ability to interpret sales trends and make informed business decisions
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Excellent time-management, organization, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to lift 20 kg multiple times per day
- Reliable vehicle with insurance and a valid driver's license (driver's abstract required)
- Consistently demonstrates responsible alcohol consumption and represents Moosehead products with integrity
