To support the expansive growth that is underway, we are excited to welcome a Territory Manager – Ontario West.

The Territory Manager – Ontario West leverages deep market intelligence and established industry relationships to craft and execute advanced strategies that elevate brand equity, expand awareness, and solidify Castle Rock Farms competitive position. Impact is measured through sustained market penetration, increased average SKU count per store, and consistent growth in regional market share.

Note: The Ontario West territory includes all communities west of Hamilton, through to the Windsor/Detroit border.

·        Selection preference will be given to candidates who reside near geographically central Municipalities: London or Brantford, Ontario.

Position Overview

  • Lead the development and execution of Castle Rock Farms retail account strategies across the Ontario West Territory, leveraging in-depth market intelligence to optimize sales performance and brand presence with brick-and-mortar licensed cannabis retailers.

  • Drive business development initiatives with a focus on expanding market share, identifying growth opportunities, and executing actionable plans that deliver measurable results.

  • Oversee and strengthen long-term customer relationships, fostering partnerships that enhance brand equity, loyalty, and repeat business.

  • Maintain agility in responding to market trends and competitor activity, adapting strategies to maximize Territory performance and supporting province-wide rollout of successful initiatives.

  • Develop and present comprehensive Territory reports, including account progress, forecasts, and strategic insights to leadership on a regular basis.

  • Coordinate and participate in on-site promotional events, product launches, and brand activations (e.g. Retailer 'Pop-ups') to drive engagement and sales within the Territory

  • Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to future Sales Representatives within the Territory, ensuring consistent application of best practices and alignment with Castle Rock Farms objectives.

  • Perform other duties as required to support the growth and success of the Territory and Castle Rock Farms overall business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Agriculture and Environmental Studies, Cannabis Studies, Healthcare, or a related field; or equivalent progressive experience in sales and territory management.

  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated success in sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the cannabis or consumer goods industry, with proven results in growing market share and brand presence.

  • In-depth knowledge of cannabis industry regulations, OCS Wholesale operations, market trends, and competitive landscape, with the ability to leverage insights to shape territory strategy and maintain compliance.

  • Strong strategic, analytical, organizational, and planning skills, with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to influence and collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

  • Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and team development capabilities, with the ability to guide and elevate the performance of a future Sales Team within the Territory.

  • Demonstrates strong judgment and advanced problem-solving skills to make informed, strategic decisions in complex or evolving market situations.

  • Exceptional negotiation and influencing abilities, capable of building consensus, securing opportunities, and driving mutually beneficial outcomes with retailers and partners.

  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout Western Ontario, as well as periodic travel to Princeton, BC, and the Lower Mainland of BC for corporate meetings, trade shows, and other business events.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, access to a personal vehicle for territory travel (car allowance provided), and current vehicle liability insurance.

  • Reside within the Ontario West Territory to ensure effective Territory coverage and relationship management.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience using CRM or sales analytics tools.
