About Atlantic Cultivation Ltd. & Atlantic Cannabis (ACL)

Atlantic Cultivation (ACL) is a locally owned and operated Canadian cannabis company with both a state-of-the-art production facility and a growing network of retail locations. Those retail locations are known as Atlantic Cannabis, and you'll find them nestled around some pretty beautiful places on the island portion of NL.

Everything we do at ACL is grounded in our core values: Quality, Community, and Fun.

We're not just looking for someone to "cover a territory" - we're looking for a relationship-driven sales professional who takes pride in representing a quality brand, enjoys building long-term partnerships, and can help grow our presence across Western Canada in a collaborative and compliant way.

The Role - Territory Sales Representative (TSR)

Atlantic Cultivation is growing its commercial team and is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Territory Sales Rep to manage and grow our presence across Alberta, British Columbia, and Manitoba.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this role is focused on frontline sales execution, account management, and market development. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with provincial boards, distributors, and key retail partners, while executing sales strategies that support brand growth and product velocity in Western Canada.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

Territory & Account Management

  • Manage and grow assigned territory (AB, BC, MB), maintaining strong relationships with provincial boards, distributors, and key retail partners.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day sales communications within the territory.
  • Conduct regular account check-ins, business reviews, and follow-ups to support sell-through and brand performance.

Sales Execution & Market Development

  • Execute sales strategies developed in collaboration with the National Sales Manager and Commercial team.
  • Support new product launches, listings, and regional rollouts.
  • Identify new opportunities for distribution, listings, and promotional activity within the territory.
  • Represent Atlantic Cultivation at industry events, trade shows, and retailer meetings as required.

Forecasting, Reporting & Insights

  • Track sales performance, product movement, and market trends within the territory.
  • Provide regular feedback on retailer needs, competitive activity, pricing, and consumer trends.
  • Support forecasting, demand planning, and allocation discussions with internal teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the National Sales Manager on stock offers, provincial submissions, and territory priorities.
  • Liaise with inventory, logistics, and QA teams to ensure accurate product availability and compliance.
  • Support issue resolution related to orders, deliveries, or product concerns in-market.

What you'll need

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years' experience in a sales, territory management, or account management role in the cannabis industry
  • Working knowledge of the Cannabis Act and provincial cannabis distribution models in Western Canada.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships in a B2B environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable working with sales data, CRM tools, and reporting dashboards.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively across a large geographic territory.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly within Alberta, British Columbia, and Manitoba.
