 Responsibilities
  • Partner with stakeholders across multiple teams to gather requirements, understand user needs, and translate them into effective design solutions.

  • Develop interactive, high-fidelity prototypes using modern design tools (primarily Figma) to demonstrate functionality and validate design concepts.

  • Ensure all design work aligns with an established design system and contribute new components to the shared UI library when appropriate.

  • Create clear documentation for engineering teams, including task flows, user journeys, screen flows, and site maps.

  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately; answer questions and provide revisions as needed.

  • Create and maintain detailed tickets within project management tools to communicate design intent and requirements.

  • Continuously improve the product experience by analyzing feedback and optimizing user workflows.

  • Maintain visual consistency by ensuring product interfaces align with brand standards and established UI patterns.

  • Contribute to the evolution and governance of the organization’s design system and pattern library.

Qualifications

  • Strong passion for user-centered design and staying current with UX/UI best practices and trends.

  • Comfortable designing for both web and application environments.

  • 3–5+ years of experience designing digital products (web, mobile, or desktop), supported by a strong portfolio demonstrating responsive and mobile-first design.

  • Analytical and creative problem solver with a data-informed approach to design decisions.

  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams that include product managers, developers, and design leadership.

  • Familiarity with front-end development concepts and tools, including the ability to inspect elements in browsers and a basic understanding of HTML/CSS.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present and advocate for design ideas.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Excellent documentation, research, and continuous learning habits.

  • Experience working within brand and style guidelines.

  • Advanced proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

  • Experience with prototyping tools such as Axure, UXPin, Justinmind, Figma, or Adobe XD.

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Post-secondary education in design or a related field preferred.

  • Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional product teams.
